The Solar Battery Price in Australia in 2026 generally falls around $7,000 to $19,000 installed after the federal battery discount, depending on capacity, equipment and installation complexity. Current market guides put many 10kWh systems around $7,000 to $11,000 after the federal discount, 15kWh systems around $11,000 to $15,000, and 20kWh systems around $14,000 to $19,000.

Before incentives, the price can be considerably higher.

However, there is no single solar battery cost for every Australian home. Battery chemistry, usable capacity, inverter requirements, switchboard work and backup features can change the final quote.
